Hi everybody!

I found out that the Vincent SP331 has 2 X 6n16 Tubes inside.
I would like to check if any of th tubes in the market can be interchangeable with the 6N16?

Hi , I have used the Vincent SP 331 power and it is very good for the money you pay. Its a value for Money product. I dont have any idea about changing the tubes.

Cheers.

Hi Mark,

Thanks for the advice.
I went ahead without any further consideration and bought the Vincent SP331.
Tubes after some research online, I found out that the tubes can be interchanged with 6021 Sylvania JAN USA.
The website stated that it will be an upgrade if I had switched to those tubes.

Well, changing of the tubes come later, I'm gonna enjoy the amp first.

True enough, it really separates from the previous class of amp I had, which is the Adcom GFA555.
The 3 dimensional effect has been brought out by the Vincent and I've never tried anything like this before.
Smooth Vocals, Deep Bass, Open, Imaging is good.

One thing to note, the amp can't really handle extreme highs too well and it always round them off to make the sound warm. Probably because of the pair of 6N16s in it.

Thanks anyways.
Cheers,
Tim
